The Valorant Challengers Tour will have a $9000 prize pool for Latin America

The Masters and Challengers Finals for Latin America are also planning to take place in Mexico City.

Back when the Champions Tour for Valorant was announced, we had no real information as to how Riot would really be supporting the tournament. We know that the bigger leagues would be receiving larger prize pools and coverage, but what about the smaller, more regional Challenger events? Well, considering the Latin American region is looking to feature a $9000 prize pool for its Challengers series, we can probably assume the rest of the world will feature something similar.

The information was revealed by Valorant Zone and translated by Liquipedia, and to further build on this news, it was also brought to light that all being well pandemic wise - the Masters and Challengers Finals for Latin America are planning to take place in Mexico City.

As for the rest of the world, we'll have to wait for more news, but we can probably expect this information coming from Latin America to be some kind of reflection of what will be occurring in other regions. Although, if you ask us, Europe and North America at the very least will probably not be seeing much deviation from online play, at least for the first half of 2021.
