Report: Sentinels complete buyout of TenZ's contract from Cloud9

The buyout is reported to be a "seven figure" deal.

Following the conclusion of the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters in Reykjavik, Iceland, an event that saw the Sentinels defeat Fnatic 3-0 in the grand finals to walk away with the event trophy and cash prize, Sentinels has now completed the purchase of Tyson "TenZ" Ngo's contract from Cloud9, as The Esports Observer reports.

TenZ originally came to the Sentinels on a loan from Cloud9 when Jay "Sinatraa" Won was suspended following failing to cooperate with a police investigation regarding allegations of sexual misconduct. Since then, Sentinels have continued their push as one of the best teams in the world, even proving that they are arguably the best entirely after the Stage 2 Masters.

The buyout for TenZ's contract has not been officially revealed, but the report from The Esports Observer did mention that the deal was a "seven-figure" one.

Do you think TenZ is worth over a million dollars?
