The Spanish esports organisation MAD Lions has signed a partnership deal with the fashion brand El Cortes Ingles, a deal that will see the first time a Spanish fashion firm will dress a Spanish gaming team. As part of the deal, the players and technical team will all wear Easy Wear (suit, tie and shirt), Green Coast (shirt, shirt and jeans), and Emidio Tucci (shoes).
"Having the honor of being the esports club chosen by El Corte Inglés, as the first Spanish fashion brand that bets on dressing a team, makes us proud," said Álvaro Luzón, MAD Lions marketing director. "We both carry the Spanish brand outside our borders and now our paths cross through this collaboration, which we began on a very important day for us when we were received by the Deputy Mayor of Madrid on the occasion of our recent European victories. Nothing better than doing it dressed by El Corte Inglés!"
This deal will also see El Corte Ingles continue its exploration into esports, which it started when it sponsored the LVP League of Legends in 2015.
