The International Esports Federation announced plans for the 12th annual Esports World Cup recently, with the goal for the event to be hosted in Eilat, Israel between December 6-12. To further build on the hype, the organisation revealed that qualifiers for the global finals will take place regionally soon, featuring a staggering 60 unique nations participating.

Planned to begin on October 20, lasting until November 22, the regional qualifiers will be an online event, streamed through the organisations official channels, where finalists of each regional tournament will be invited to the World Finals in Israel.

"We are happy to announce the regional stages of the 12th Esports World Championship ahead of the final global games in Eilat, Israel," said Ido Brosh, Head of the Local Organising Committee on the announcement post. "We are excitedly looking forward to the next announcement of the final games in Eilat, and wish good luck to all the participants."

Currently, the three titles to be played at the event will consist of Tekken 7, eFootball PES and DOTA 2.
