With the Super Bowl set to take place in a few days time, the NFL has revealed that it is partnering with FaZe Clan. Set to see the pair work together hosting and running a co-branded flag football game with FaZe Clan stars, NFL Network members, and former NFL players all being part of the event.
"Teaming up with FaZe enables us to leverage our platforms to authentically engage with and celebrate the next generation of fans at the intersection of gaming, football, and culture," said Ian Trombetta, SVP, social, influencer & content marketing at the NFL.
We're told in a blog post that the game will take place on Saturday, February 12, at 21:00 GMT / 22:00 CET, and that it will be streamed on FaZe Clan's YouTube and Twitch channels. It's also noted that the two participating teams will see $25,000 donated to youth sports, with FaZe's donation going to Snoop Dogg's Youth Football League.
Likewise, it's also mentioned that the NFL and FaZe will continue to work together on co-branded content and events, as well as the creation of original, co-branded consumer products.
