And, it will boast a $2 million prize pool.

Activision has announced that the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship will in fact return starting on June 3 and will boast a hefty $2 million prize pool. The tournament that was announced to be returning last week will once again be run in collaboration with Sony and will even see players able to earn in-game rewards and a share of the prize pool by participating in the title's Ranked mode.

Aside from the date and the prize pool, Activision is still keeping a lot of the details regarding the plans for this season of the competitive scene close to its chest, but it has stated, "stay tuned for more information regarding tournament rules and eligibility requirements," and to "keep checking back for more details closer to the start of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021."

Either way, that prize pool is definitely something to be excited for.
