The British Esports Association (BEA) is teaming up with Bett 2022 to bring esports to the EdTech show in London this January. Bett is known for being the global community for education technology and is also the largest of the annual EdTech events around the globe.

As part of the partnership, BEA and Bett will be hosting a "dedicated esports feature", the first of its kind, to highlight esports at the convention. As well as this, there are expected to be a range of panels that highlight the benefits of esports, plus competitions such as daily Rocket League matches.

"We are proud to be representing the esports industry in the incredible Bett show this year," said Elliot Bond, British Esports' head of broadcast and events. "It's a huge opportunity for those interested in gaming to learn how education and esports can be brought together to inspire and motivate young people."

According to the announcement press release, the partnership will see the pair working together to further integrate esports into education, using it as a way to highlight the importance of digital skills.

As for when Bett 2022 will take place, the show is set for January 19-21, and will be held at the ExCeL Centre in London.
