OpTic Gaming are the Valorant Champions Tour - Reykjavik Masters victors

The team defeated LOUD in yesterday's final to take the tournament.

After a couple of weeks of competition, the Valorant Champions Tour: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavik major has come to a close. Seeing the 12 best teams from around the world attending and competing, the past weekend had seen four remaining teams competing for the lion's share of the $675,000 prize pool.

It was OpTic Gaming who was crowned as victors after defeating LOUD in the grand final 3-0. This was actually a rematch between OpTic and LOUD, as the pair previously also played in the upper bracket final, where LOUD won 2-1 and knocked OpTic into the lower bracket final where it risked being eliminated from the tournament altogether. However, OpTic remained focussed and ended up defeating Zeta Division to earn the other grand finals slot, wherein they also exacted revenge against LOUD and came out as the champions.

With this wrapped up, all eyes are on the second stage of the Valorant Champions Tour.
