Team Liquid has won the Red Bull Home Ground

Liquid overcame Acend to take the title and the €20,000 cash prize.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 8 November 2021

The latest Red Bull Home Ground event concluded over the weekend, an event that brought a bunch of the top teams from around the world together to compete for a share of a €60,000 prize pool.

With the event beginning on November 4, the finals that took place yesterday brought both Team Liquid and Acend together to slug it out for the top slot, with Liquid prevailing in a 3-1 match.

The win saw Liquid not only win the title of champions, but also the largest share of the prize pool, which came to €20,000. This event also served as a bit of redemption for Liquid, who attended the previous Red Bull Home Ground as well, where they made it all the way to the finals before falling to G2 Esports at the final hurdle.

Now that this event has concluded, we'll have to wait to hear from Red Bull about the plans for the third Home Ground event, which is no doubt planned following the success of the first two.
