It has been reported that the Esports Stadium Arlington has had to lay-off the majority of its staff. The current report by The Esports Observer states that all but two people were let-go, leaving the future of the stadium itself very much in question.
The stadium has been used for many big esports tournaments and is the current home for the Dallas Fuel Overwatch League team, however this situation, with many employees and staff working at the facility tweeting about employment changes, the current state of the building's financial position is in question.
The former President at the Esports Stadium Arlington Jonathan "Panda" Oudthone tweeted about the situation saying; "As of today I am no longer the President of Esports Stadium Arlington . It has been a pleasure designing, building and operating the largest esports facility in North America. Lots of amazing events and opportunities came from this. Thanks to all for the support."
He continued on further with a follow-up, saying; "I know people have lots of questions. I appreciate the outreach and support but I can't really dive into details at this time. Just know that the Stadium's voice moving forward is not the voice of the people who sacrificed blood, sweat and tears building it."
What do you think this means for the facility?
