Team Liquid are rated the number one team in the world for Counter-Strike right now, and it's easy to see why, as they've come straight from their win at ESL One Cologne to take the Blast Pro Series Los Angeles title this past weekend as well, adding to their run of successes in 2019.

They defeated fellow local team Cloud9 16-8 in the early stages of the competition, before taking down NRG (another North American side) 16-9, MIBR 16-11, FaZe 16-4, and finally Renegades 16-11, meaning they ended top of the group stage with five wins to their name.

In the playoffs Liquid faced Cloud9 and the rematch went their way 2-0 in terms of maps, setting up a final with FaZe Clan, who had also beaten NRG in their semi-final 2-0. Just as with their last standoff though, Liquid beat FaZe 2-0 to lift the trophy.

Who can topple Liquid?
