Overwatch League reveals packed sponsor list

Coca-Cola, Omen by HP, Intel, and more are coming on board to help present the Overwatch League as it gears up for Season 2.

Blizzard has revealed that the Overwatch League is partnering with several high-profile brands in 2019, just ahead of the start of Season 2 this week, with the first matches kicking off on February 14 to reintroduce fans to the competition and the expansion teams.

Coca-Cola has signed a multi-year deal to become the official global beverage sponsor across all non-alcoholic options, which extends to Contenders, Open Division, Tespa, the Overwatch World Cup, and BlizzCon. What's more is we'll also see Coca-Cola as the official North American beverage sponsor in the same way for the game itself.

Toyota is also returning as the North American automotive partner of the competition, and will continue to sponsor the interview series Access Granted: Driven by Toyota. Their vehicles will also feature in custom vignettes featuring talent too.

Speaking of returns, T-Mobile is also coming back as the official US wireless provider, as well as being a sponsor of the season and Grand Finals MVP awards. However, this season Overwatch League experts will nomiante five finalsits for the MVP award for the regular season, letting fans vote on Twitch, Twitter, and Weibo, with T-Mobile and the Overwatch League providing an inside look at the candidates via player profile videos. T-Mobile is also returning as a sponsor for the All-Stars event.

HP is also continuing to provide computers and displays from their Omen by HP line, which will exclusively be used for practice and competitive play in the competiton. Omen by HP is also sponsoring a weekly video feature called Game/Set, which looks at how players improve their performance, as well as being the sponsor for the Player of the Match segment.

On top of that Intel is returning as the official computer processor of the league for the second year, providing the computers with i7 processors and producing educational videos to help fans learn about Overwatch and playing competitively. Intel is also returning as the presenting sponsor of the All-Star game too.
